"That's a good point," Tim said in response to Neal's comment about the previous objects. "Maybe these are the ones we're supposed to get rid of." It was still a lot of what ifs, the type of holes in the case that got under the skin and made you itch with the unknown.

Tim was moving towards another set of cabinets when he had to sidestep a bit of rotten board that had split open, exposing the ceiling beneath.
