"I'm just going to take them when I need them." Said every addict ever. Tim had lost count how many times he'd heard those words from Mark and other veterans who found their escape in drugs. Given his own relationship with alcohol the younger marshal knew he had no right to scold or lecture at Malcolm, so he kept his disbelief to himself.
Prying himself off the bed he began to head towards the door.
"You're right." Tim said as he moved. "I can't know." He considered pointing out that it was more than a little arrogant for Malcolm to consider his trauma that much greater than anyone else's. But he was trying to play nice so he kept the observation to himself.
"If I come across anything I'll give it to Raylan to get to you."
