He’d be singing even deeper apologies if he knew the way their father placed their brother’s death on their shoulders, laid the blame at their feet, tried to weaponize the guilt to make them all work harder, do better.

But that feels too big and too deep from the emotional well than he’s prepared to acknowledge right now.

“Knew I could see him, sure. But it was really recently we’d noticed he could take control like that.” He explains softly.
