"My family," she finishes, quieter, and looks at Ellie, her expression soft. There are others who have people they knew or cared about from home here with them, she knows. And some who don't. Who never did. She doesn't know how they stand it.
"Are you, um." She doesn't want to be too blunt, but there are only so many ways to say it. "Here...with anyone?"
