[Funny thing about metals, even older, cast iron type ones, they didn't really burn well. During Raylan's dig through the remains of the 1306/1308 household, he had managed to recover the skeleton key that John Constantine had found once upon a time. While he knew the man wasn't coming back for it, he also knew that it was important in some way he didn't fully understand. Recovering it was a weak salve for all they'd lost, but that didn't stop him from walking out with it anyway.
And now, Raylan was wandering the streets, everything he owned on his person at the time; his duster had been lost, but his badge, his hat - those he'd managed to run away with. The only sense of what he was that he could hold onto like a buoy in a storm.
He stopped when he saw Callisto, eyes narrowing as his path turned towards her and letting out a low, signaling whistle of 'Hey I'm here'.]
Callisto, [He greeted her with a lift of his chin and an almost nervous glance down the street.] What're you doin?
