Everything leading up to this moment has been a week in the making and when he and Daisy finally open the door to Poppy Cottage, he can feel that little bit of relief hit him. It isn't enough to make him fully relax, but Bucky knows well enough that none of this is over and that was a feeling he was pretty familiar with.

When they are inside, he glances around; a feeling of uneasiness present and accounted for because that's what Mathias is all about. At first, he doesn't notice Daisy's quick work on lighting up the place until it's overdone. From the outside, it probably could be seen from across the western part of town. But maybe that was the point.

Asking if she's okay is pointless. So, Bucky moves around and finds a closet with some bars of soap and a stack of towels that were not as dusty the further one went down. Once he's checked to make sure there's some clean running water in the bathroom, he comes back to the kitchen.

"It's no five star but I've tidied up the bathroom a little if you want to wash up."
