Yeah, well, that's about one and a half inches too far apart for Doc to feel comfortable. Not that size is everything.

"Ain't nothing nobody can do about that." Or, rather, they've already done all that they can. The things that are getting under Raylan's skin are completely outside of their control. And Doc has taken a long time and a lot of self-reflection to come to a point to grow his pool of patience, where he takes fewer things personally now. Not many hot-headed people have that luxury.
