Ellie booked it outta the woods before she saw the endlessness of the ravine, but she remembers the people (they weren't people, they were something else, she thinks) jumping off into the ravine. She isn't dwelling on that, but she can't forget it, either. There's a lot of competing trauma in her brain, sure, but that's recent.

She stops short of colliding with Parker. It's not Parker's fault, of course. Ellie should be paying better attention and all that. It's been a shitty few days. Or a shitty few months, whatever.
