Because while the alternative was just as possible, there was, at least, a 50/50 chance in the positive favor that she would return the sniper to him again. Raylan pushed to his feet and moved back to the window, unable to keep himself from looking.

"And if she doesn't, I'm still goin' back home. I'll see him there." Tim was at home. He existed there right now, even while his body was out in Mathis some where too. Raylan took some comfort in that.
