I got enough people tellin' me that I'm useless and stupid and can't sort my life out, I don't need you here givin' me hell for a face I can't control. I'm sorry you're disappointed that I'm not him. I tried."
Hazel, unbothered eyes dropped back down to the paper, flipping through more of it.
"Anyway, There's still pieces missin' here. First step is seein' what they did in times of trouble. Ain't even a surivin' church here; I'd bet money there's one out in the woods if it ain't the lodge itself."
