Doc's last foray traipsing through the forest wasn't exactly an easy walk in the park either. He had been lured in by the siren song of a distressed infant and it was Number Five who had to drag him out. Or, more precisely, grab him and 'jump' him out. He'd thrown up half his supper after Five left him to his own devices and he was finished pretending that he was fine.

He's fortunate to have Dorian with him this time around, although he can't be certain what trouble exactly he's gotten the both of them into this time.

"You... follow mysterious demons into the forest pretending to be women often?" he asks, not deliberately trying to lighten the mood, but he is curious about what he's dealing with, both with regard to the women and the menfolk too. Clearly talk of demons doesn't phase him too much. If anything he seems a little warier than before.

"They look plenty alive to me," he points out with a gesture at the ladies. "Do you think they are... puppets or reanimated corpses of some sort?" Since they're not moving to attack the men just yet, they can afford to speculate a little.
