There's a slight wince as the man crumples. Okay, so he had been feeling fairly confident that the bolt shouldn't have been strong enough to stop his heart but now he's worried maybe the storm itself packed more punch than his spell. His footfalls are quick and he'll damn near stumble to the ground as he slides across the grass in his attempt to stop short next to the other. He's down on one knee in front of him now, trying to level his gaze on the dazed man in front of him.
"Raylan? Raylan. Hey." He reaches for him, cupping his face in his hands, palms warm against cold skin.
"Look at me. You need to listen to me." He barely knows this man, but the only thing going through his head right now is trying to reason with him as if he were speaking to any one of his companions from back home to talk them out of something stupid.
"We need you back there. You need to pull yourself together. If you go in those woods you aren't coming back out. There are people in town that need help getting to safety before the fires kill us all. Do you hear me?"
Dorian's quite happy he didn't make a Raylan Fritter!
