Closed to Neal, with Doc and Raylan to be added mid-thread
Malcolm barely slept. Every time he closed his eyes, all he saw was fire and all he heard were the screams of the people he cared about here. It sounded like the nightmare Raylan had described. He would have liked to unsubscribe, thank you.
By lunchtime, he was meandering in the kitchen, not really sure why he'd come. There was a plate on the counter. Had he put it there? He frowned at it. Turning, suddenly the shadow man was standing between the counter and the kitchen island. Malcolm staggered backwards, his elbow pushing the plate onto the floor, where it shattered loudly on the tiles.
"What are you doing here?" he breathed, his eyes wide with horror. The figure's face wasn't really discernable, but somehow Malcolm knew he was smiling. It wasn't a gesture of kindness.

He put out his hand.
"Stay back," he warned.
