The gasp Jeff then lets out is one of betrayal, the hurt completely naked on his face.

"He said... I wasn't Gifted?" Look, 'stupid musician' he can take. That's pretty accurate. But not a wizard? "And-- more importantly-- he threatened to shoot you?"

That doesn't sound like the Raylan Givens he knows. But then... does he really know Raylan Givens?
