The Tim before everything that had happened between them, would have held his ground. The younger man knew that was what he should do. But the truth was, all he'd wanted since that night (was it really just the night before??) was his partner's arms.

He came readily, almost tripping over himself in a show of undignified haste that had him practically falling into Raylan's arms. Tim's arms went around the older man, hands hooking up over his shoulders as he clung with a desperation that no words would ever be able to address.

The competent, self-reliant, always had his shit together, sniper pressed his face into Raylan's shoulder and broke into sobs. Crying with a strength of emotion his logical side tried to tell him he had no right to feel, but once started he couldn't stop.
