Tim wasn't sure how these things were supposed to go. Instinct told him that avoidance wasn't usually a good sign but at the same time he couldn't fault Raylan for wanting to avoid emotions for a bit. Tim knew he was raw and he knew enough to recognize that what he felt was nothing compared to what his partner was going through.
"Vegetarian," he supplied, just as he would back home. "Vegan is no animal anything and I'm pretty sure your beloved cowboy boots would be a big no no." He turned the plum about to the bruised side and bit into it first, slurping and having to push his chin out as he tried not to wear the juice down his "Hello Kitty" shirt front.
Around a mouthful of plum, what were manners, he asked.
"Thinking about grilling up a mess of fresh for the town?" He almost asked if Raylan was going to put that grate overtop another building, but it felt too soon. Besides, the only man had already talked about a burn pit. "Could maybe build a bigger bonfire on the beach, think that's supposed to be a good summer time activity?"
