Tai's main goal right now is to learn what he can about this place, and the people who inhabit it. To that end, most of his day is spent wandering the area, discovering where things are, and introducing himself to whoever he runs across in the process. (And maybe, after a couple days, he'll bother to scope out some new clothes, but it's not a priority.)

But also, the years he's spent studying the Jedi way have left him with some pretty strong habits, so each day in the morning and evening, he stops for a while to meditate. That, too, is a form of exploring, since at least for now, he picks different places each time. Always somewhere out of the way enough that he can expect not to be immediately disturbed, but each time a new place, picking up what he can from his surroundings. He's not expecting to learn anything big, but it at least might help him wrap his mind around what he's dealing with.

The Force seems somehow weaker here than he's used to, so it might not be as visually impressive to the casual onlooker as it would be otherwise. Still, there are probably a few small objects, pebbles and sticks and the like, quietly floating around him as he sits crosslegged on the ground, eyes closed.
