So, on the one hand, Jeff knows that Raylan's the established one here, and Jeff's the outsider who's still bumbling around like an ungainly and overexcited puppy. He knows it, logically, and he knows that it isn't personal.
But Malcolm's hardly the first person to greet him this way, and every "Raylan-- oh." still stings a little. Like the part that's unsaid might as well be: Oh. It's you. Lesser-Raylan. Fake-Raylan. Raylan-if-he-was-a-total-wimp-instead-of-a-cool-swaggering-cowboy.

Anyway, watch him brush it off with a smile and pretend he isn't totally insecure!
