The way I see it? If someone did bring us here, they had their reasons for doing so. If they had wanted us dead, they would not have brought us here. And if the reason involved us doing something, they would have surely told us or sent a very clear message by now. [Sometimes they just need to take some comfort in the unknown. He's not the best at doing that himself, admittedly, but he's also spent a hundred and thirty years in isolation not knowing why or how much longer he would stay trapped, so. He's learned to live with the not knowing why. They do say ignorance is bliss, after all.]
