He perceptibly relaxes, though not by much. The idea of Tim seeing one of the appallingly many times he’s put the people he cares about at risk—-he would have been running for the metaphorical hills and damn the fog.

It doesn’t soothe away the possibility that Tim saw something precious and private, but it’s something. It doesn’t make him feel better about the fact that someone is seeing the inside of his head at all.
