She smiles, looking hopeful. Some people might be freaked out by the idea of a secret society of wizards keeping themselves hidden from the general population, lying about what they were and what they could do. But the thought of magic, actual magic, existing just under the surface is enticing enough to override any concerns about the danger or indignation about being lied to.
