The rain starts as Daisy hits the block a little while later. She'd seen part of the town, met Raylan, and decided those dark clouds suddenly swooping in weren't something she wanted to deal with on top of everything else. When the downpour strikes, she sprints forward, lifting the blanket a bit in a futile attempt to not be half-drowned on the way.
Her hair is plastered to her head when she reaches the porch, stopping at the door with a hand raised to knock. He'd said the Other Her lived there... After another second of indecision, she turns the handle instead, stepping inside as lightning arcs across the sky. She shoves the door closed against the gusting wind just as a rumble of thunder rolls over the town, then stands there dripping all over the floor.

This day really sucks.
