Daisy doesn't want to think about that first part. It's too soon, too messy and complicated, and she doesn't want to know how the other man would look at her if he knew. So she focuses on the easy part — the stuff she'd lived and breathed for who knows how long.

"Honestly, I couldn't tell you the specifics," she admits, shaking her head. "FitzSimmons and Enoch were behind the technical side of things and it's all way above me. But it involved stealing tech from the alien robots we were trying to stop; they wanted to make Earth their new homeworld and were going back in time to get rid of SHIELD so we couldn't stop them in the present. So, suddenly, our spaceship had a time drive on it and we had to follow them through the decades."

Not so suddenly for those three, though. She still can't wrap her head around just how much time had passed for her friends, all the years they'd spent in space preparing for this mission without anyone knowing.
