It doesn't feel okay. Very little about this place does, but he's one of them, and she's grateful that he just...lets her not be okay for a minute. She hasn't wanted to admit that she's not, and after this she'll probably go back to pretending she is, but if she has to be here she's glad that there's someone here she feels safe enough to break down around.

It's a few minutes before she feels steady again, another few moments before the tears stop and she starts breathing normally. She pulls back enough to wipe at her eyes and face, trying to calm back down.

"Sorry," she mutters before taking a deep breath. And another. "And thank you."
