The first jerk of Tim under his hand only hurried Raylan and his already dripping wet lips to very nearly the shell of the sniper's ear, and he was happy that Tim was aware enough to not kick his ass right there in some defensive flashback snap. The grip back around him helped steady them both as the wind shoved its screaming power at them, keeping Raylan and his no traction boots from slipping once again.

He really needed to get a new pair to wear down.

"Same thing happened to me. Wiped out the first house and damn near blew over the second. You sure we just ain't unlucky?" Raylan lifted his head a little bit to try and look at the lighthouse. "You ain't doin' that by yourself!"

But if they could taunt Mathis into destroying herself in any fashion, Raylan was into it. There were no cooler heads to prevail here.

"Only path I know is through the woods." Meaning if Tim knew a different way, lead on.
