Were he sober Tim wouldn't have speculated. He knew the importance of working in facts because if you went too far down the route of theory, you could start trying to warp facts to fit theory. But he wasn't sober and he'd had a rough day down in the tunnels and then on the lighthouse, so Kirigan was getting his money's worth tonight.
