The tech is, weirdly, the one thing that seems the most normal to him. By all accounts, a lot of people seem to feel it's outdated, which makes him wonder what other people's worlds were like, and what happened in theirs that made tech advance so much faster, somehow?

"I don't think we have a Do Not Disturb couch," he admits, amused. And god, isn't that better than everything else?

He nods, scoffing in amused disbelief, "Yeah... it does, but hey." he offers a hand in extension for a shake. "I'm Klaus. I've...been here, uhm-" he stops and tries to think about it.
