Ever since his death, he's been on some sort of high-alert. Sounds seem louder than they should, and the new presence in the room, soft footsteps and a quiet voice to accompany them make him jump. He huffs a nervous sort of sound at the question, "Wouldn'tcha know, it's the same damn thing on every channel?"

"You, uh- you must be new." He doesn't recognize him, and Klaus thinks he's at least seen, if not outright met, just about everyone here. People are showing up all the time, so it's an easy leap to make, all considered.
