She doesn't know. All she knows is after three nights straight, she'd been desperate to stop the noise. And she knows he's got a point with what he's saying, that this place and the horrors it's shown them are beyond what any of them are capable of handling, especially on their own, but hearing him state that out loud and berate her for thinking she could do anything about it just makes her angrier.
