Her arms wrap around him, clinging to him tightly and savoring the feeling of him alive in her arms. Her fingers are numb from the cold but they still manage to wrap around whatever fabric they find, keeping hold of him so nothing can take him from her again.
"I'm sorry you went through that... but I'm so glad you're here," she tells him without really thinking, the adrenaline of the last little while finally beginning to dissipate and leaving her feeling off-balance. Everything around them is some shade of horrifying red. The world is dark and cold and she's scared — but she isn't alone. He's here too and she feels so guilty for being glad of that.
