It is not a good place to be alone in. [He agrees with this sentiment, even if he would never admit that he craves the company he currently enjoys in his house. After so long spent alone, he doesn't want to be alone anymore. He would even put up with borderline annoying housemates just so there's some noise and interaction in the house, even if it feels like he's putting himself through unnecessary torture sometimes.]

When we first arrived it was pouring down with rain. We could only make it as far inland as the Grey Gull and a sparse few streets. I stayed and waited for familiar faces to show up, too. [At one point he'd put up a note on the Grey Gull wall. And then... over time he just kind of got busy with other things. Stopped looking.]
