"I will keep a lookout for anything you could possibly use to prevent that," Doc promises. He might be blindly driving the ambulance at the bottom of a very steep cliff but he's not sure he can catch Malcolm if he goes soaring through the window one night. Often, for one reason or another, he has not managed to be there during the critical moments for the important people in his life. He anticipates missing a few more in the coming months.
