He just stopped, like he’d shorted out for a moment, then realized he was staring at the other man’s face and said “I’m baffled at how someone else could be a bigger expert on what your reality is like. I think you’d know what you experience,” he said matter-of-factly before looking into his tea again. “Or what you... feel.”
