After he had squished and almost suffocated Raylan against the couch - some kind of serendipitous configuration they had ended up in that they had not spoken of since - they had spent most of yesterday apart and they did not have the opportunity to speak of whatever Malcolm is referring to. Not that it would have even come up in conversation between them.
