There had been a very brief moment, when it started, where he’d asked himself if it was real, because part of him didn’t believe it could be. But he leaned into it, because if it was real, not responding would be a hell of a waste of everything he’d been sure would never happen to him for weeks now.

Raylan hesitated, but he didn’t pull away. Malcolm’s eyes darted across his features this time, then he leaned urgently in to kiss him again.
