It's hard to tell how big a house is from the inside, so he cannot say for certain that the house he ended up in might have been too small or too big or about the same as what was in the photograph. With the blizzard outside he couldn't see if the clearing was just outside the house, either.

"The same faces," he confirms. "Not all of them, just some. But they were the same people. I am sure of it. Dean Winchester saw a film depicting this, also." The film, in fact, may yield more information about that particular moment in time, but he does not know when the film was made or what else was in it. "They were arranged similarly as the photo you have in your possession. I did not see a briefcase. Although maybe they keep that sort of thing in the house?" He wouldn't rule it out.
