Back in the day, no shops or schools or services would have opened if they were hit by days or weeks of unforgiving weather. They did not have this concept of 'business as usual'. But that doesn't mean she's not right. It has been a string of unusual weather phenomena in a relatively short span of time and who is to say they didn't have a yearlong killer fog problem once?
