This place really is a hard pill to swallow, and while Coulson's nowhere near about to give up trying to chase down any threads or leads he finds, it's definitely not getting any easier.

He's thinking specifically of Constantine and Five, who both attempted things at the chasm, and got handed pretty significant consequences because of it. Sure, he's not exactly comfortable right now, but he'll survive.
