Raylan scoffed, chin tucking in as he glanced down with a shake of his head, eyes returning across the gap. Negan wasn't wrong and when the shit hit the fan, Raylan wouldn't be able to help stepping up. Out of everyone here, him and Phil were the best suited for it, not that he'd thought about it.

"Only doin' what I gotta to get my man," he assured modestly. "I only get tough if they go the hard way." And there was less going tough here, considering he didn't have his gun.
"Good that you did. Meetin' people via a burial isn't a great first impression." Though that didn't matter since they were dead for it. "Nothin' to suggest it's gonna get any better either. Might not be the same game, hasn't been so far but.." He took a deep breath and pitched another rock across the gap.
"We'll see. Us all armed with our bits of wood instead of any real weapons." Clearly, that's where his priorities were sat.
