"We didn't hear anything else, I think. Lucky us," Ellie answers. She mostly pushes her food around, suddenly struggling with the idea of eating. She should, of course. Eating is important, she knows. And Raylan was nice enough to share. Ugh, everything is hard just now, though.
She has maybe a little less detachment than Raylan, but she's used to death. She's desensitised about it on an abstract level. On a more personal level, she's glad it wasn't her who'd found any of those bodies.
