[Dean's rubbing his shoulders, suddenly, and while it can't stave off all of the cold, the gesture still helps immensely, warming Castiel instantly. Dean puts his arm around Castiel, and, instinctively, Castiel's own arm wraps around Dean, holding onto him by the waist as Dean steers them away from the crack in the ground.

He follows Dean inside as Dean holds open the door to a particular house, and Castiel wonders if Dean lives here, possibly. Dean shuts the door behind them, and by the time he turns back around, there are tears in his eyes; Castiel aches at the sight. He finds his own eyes tearing up before he can help himself.]
