It's been a harrowing week, or maybe it's only been a few days. Coulson isn't quite sure anymore, although he does his best to mark the passage of time on a conveniently empty spot on the wall in his room. But whether it's only been three days, one week, or five, he's just tired and sore, both physically and mentally.

Obviously, in a place like this, there's no mental health resources available, so in these kinds of situations, a person just has to find their own help. And for Coulson, that means trying to relieve his jangled nerves through doing something for other people. It's nothing fancy, just some basic sandwiches, and even if no one comes to take part, he'll at least leave them out on the table for a little while so anyone who passes through the kitchen can have one, or more, if they want to.

Making a plateful of sandwiches takes some time, so he can be found bustling back and forth around the kitchen, getting his small offering ready for whoever feels hungry.

And once he's done with that, he scrawls out a little note to place beside the plate of sandwiches:

Help yourself, if you're hungry. Everything that went into these came from the kitchen, so take one or two, or even three, if you're up for it.
