"What'd she look like?" The question came as he stepped up onto the porch and tested the door, finding it closed but not locked, and opening it into the living room with a look around and a pause in his stride.

He gestured Malcolm in behind him as he continued. He didn't expect to find anything in the house, but he wanted to clear it just to be sure.

"Anyone home?" he called out, accent drawing out with it.
